February 2nd, 2022 -  Scrolls

For the formal presentation of bonsai, there are other items displayed besides just the bonsai itself.  Trees are on a stand and they also often have an accent stone or plant on the table beside them.  A scroll to complete the display is often included as well.  Scrolls are great for tying the whole display together.  For our February meeting IBC Vice President, Alyssa Batula, will present a program on scrolls.  The February meeting will also feature a short program on pesticides, fertilizers and fungicides conducted by Jacy Macchia.
